Wall Oven Repair in Houston
We repair Kenmore and Kenmore Elite built-in wall ovens, single or double, with or without convection. If the oven will not heat, bakes unevenly or shows a code, we test power, sensors and elements before ordering any part.

Common wall oven problems we fix
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
Oven will not reach the temperature you set
Bakes faster on one side only
Upper oven works, lower oven stays cold
Door lock stuck after a cleaning cycle
Convection fan loud or not turning
Control panel unresponsive or showing a code
Kenmore wall ovens, like the ranges, were often made by another manufacturer for the Kenmore name. A model starting 790. points to a Frigidaire or Electrolux cooking platform, and that affects the sensor values we compare against, the way a code is displayed and which element or board is correct. We read the label before we open a panel.
Wall ovens in Houston homes usually sit above or beside cabinets near a kitchen that is warm and humid for much of the year. Heat and steam age wiring insulation and door gaskets, and a self-clean cycle in a tightly built kitchen can push a sensitive control past its limit, which is why failures often follow a cleaning run.
Our first checks are the power supply, the temperature sensor, the bake and broil elements, the convection fan, plus the door lock. A stuck lock and a cold oven look unrelated but can share a control cause, so we say what the tests show before we quote a repair.

Why did my oven lock itself during self-cleaning?
The lock engages for safety and releases once the oven cools to a safe temperature. If it stays shut once the oven is cool, the lock motor or its switch is the suspect. We test those parts before replacing anything.
Is a double oven repaired differently?
The two cavities usually share one control but have separate elements and sensors. If only one cavity fails, that points us away from the shared parts and toward the failed cavity.
Can the oven be repaired while it is still in the wall?
Often yes. Many checks, including sensor readings, element resistance and the control, can be done in place. Some repairs need the oven slid out, which we plan for and explain first.
