What Ld or F32 means
Kenmore Oasis top-load washers with model numbers that start with 110 display Ld or F32 for a long drain. The control watches the water level after the drain pump starts, and if the level does not change it stops the drain step and shows the code. Which of the two you see depends on the display. Left alone, the tub holds its water and the load stays soaked until the drain path or the pump is dealt with.
Common causes of Ld or F32
- Clog or restriction in the drain hose or washer drain
- Drain pump that is clogged
- Drain pump that is defective
- Level reading that never shows a drop
1. Check the drain hose behind the washer for a clog, kink or restriction. 2. Look at the washer drain in the wall to make sure it takes water freely. 3. Unplug the washer if you plan to touch the pump area, but leave the pump to us. 4. Run a drain and spin cycle and watch whether the code comes back.

Is Ld the same as F32 on my washer?
They are two spellings of the same long drain code on the Oasis line. Your display shows one of them, and both describe a tub that did not empty as the control expected.
Can I run another cycle to clear it?
You can try one more drain, but a blocked drain will give the same result. If the code returns, stop running loads so the washer does not keep filling a tub it cannot empty.
Do you replace the pump right away?
No. A clogged pump can often be cleared, and a blocked house drain needs a different fix. We find which it is first and quote in writing before any part is ordered.
